Where do you go on a weekend getaway when you already live in a tropical paradise?

Byron Bay is our new spot for future family holidays. I highly recommend Clarkes Caravan park – right on the beach, excellent little point break, restaurant and cafe with an awesome view of the entire beach and the mountains in the distance(or should I say large hills?). Tranquil, chilled out but trendy town, live music spilling out from every street corner cafe, and an amazing selection of cuisine to chose from. Indian, Asian, Japanese, Italian, Greek, its all there. Yum! Best anniversary weekend away with the babe man.

I have a new toy. I’m using it with another of my favourite toys.

A water proof casing and my iphone leads to a number of great experiences:

1. Treading water for an hour and a half to take pictures of my sister and her boyfriend on the water is an incredible workout,

2. Doing a shoot while swimming up the coast past 4 sets of surfers and breaks, around a big rocky point to beautiful Tea Tree bay is exhilarating, inspiring, an adventure and pretty scary. There is no way I could forget about the fact that there could have be sharks around.
