A friend recently said something profound. Paraphrased, it was something along these lines;

Human trafficking for the purpose of enslaving women and children (as young as 4) to sexual servitude is the 2nd largest global criminal industry in the world, taking in profits of over 3.1 Billion USD per year. Growing up in Africa I thought poverty was the big low in this life, but if you look a little closer, you will find a much more sinister, dark evil at work in the world we live in.
