“It’s a blazing day outside and the body screams for ocean. Cool and crystalline relief as salted water evaporates and skin dries firm like a mud mask. Repetition of hot – cold becomes an experience quite sublime, cooled bared midriff meeting baking concrete. Waterlogged eyelashes squint through the glare, sun flares meeting water droplets to form tiny rainbows across my view. It was just such a lazy day and I started to look at all things through these salty, watered eyes.
Sand, Sea, Salt & Silliness. All the right ingredients to make some beautiful Noosa Christmas family memories. Alder, the youngest, has more testosterone- out of this world- energy than my own sons, which is a lot. This brother-sister love was too lovely to see. see more from this post!

One of my favourite photography moments has to be the day I got the call to shoot the UK band, Delirious, for their Kingdom of Comfort Album.
A band who’s music had carved a deeply personal influence on my life for much of my adolescence and beyond with tracks such as ‘Obsession’, ‘Deeper’ and ‘I could sing of your love forever’. Check them out on Itunes. Here’s to the History Makers…

I had the opportunity to photograph this little pink squishy bundle on her 8th day. The LIPS. The EYES… Little heart melter she is.
I have been lucky to photograph this family on more than one occasion, this time to introduce to the world their precious, third born child, firstborn son, Levi. The name Levi finds it’s roots in ancient Hebrew culture, and means ‘pledged’ or ‘attached’. May you always find your life attached in the deepest way, little one, to family, friendship and to the One who has given you to them that they might nurture your life and dreams, and destiny.

Once again it has been such fun to photograph this beautiful family, now as a trio, soon to be the fantastic 4!
Baby Mitchell #2 is about to make her debut, these some of my favourites from the shoot.
Noosa, last light, white sand, lots of giggles – lots of people – and you have family memories captured.
When scouting for this shoot I came across this backlit lane of trees meandering down to sea. There are so many sandy corridors just like this one waiting to be explored on the Sunshine Coast. This time of year brings a warm delicate sun on your back, and cold soft sand under your feet. I had a particular idea in mind for the shoot – a warm, vintage see more from this post!
Shooting large family groups can be tricky, it being a nearly impossible task getting that many faces looking fabulous for the click of a shutter. But there’s some fun storytelling that unfolds in these group shots where everybody is in their own individual moment, allowing us to take a snapshot of how family members interact with one another. see more from this post!
To know the Chapman family is to see selflessness in action. From the youngest Rebecca to the father John I’ve personally witnessed each member of this family actively involved in some form of volunteer service, all the while with a serene sense of happiness and contentment with life. “Wholesome, affectionate & happy ” would be words to describe see more from this post!
Kathy and Matt are such a stunning couple and they and their girls are lucky enough to have made Noosa their home. Joined by their family for Christmas and New Year’s we marked the end of a family see more from this post!
When I think of a word to describe Dave and his family, it needs to be said three times over: Fun, fun, fun! see more from this post!
Margi you truly are a beautiful woman. And you have beautiful daughters and beautiful grandchildren. Lots of coercion & ‘bribery and corruption’ was present during this photo shoot from all members of the family watching on. I take full ownership for prompting that baby Archie gets his first taste of chocolate so that
What a beautiful family, and what beautiful light. Love, love, love the golden hour… see more from this post!
Let me just say – the cutest kids! While Sienna is serenely beautiful, little Cuan seriously ripped it up. The way he so passionately gripped that ball as he shouted his baby talk version of the Hakka was giggle inducing material. I prefer shooting in natural light whenever possible. see more from this post!
A Fun loving, energetic family on the brink of a new season in their lives. It was a privilege to share these moments with you Jo and Richard and little Chinta. For those of us who know toddlers, capturing a ‘perfect moment’ can be a game of tricky, luring, encouraging see more from this post!
