When you simply have to have those slightly more formal headshots for Linkedin or just a set of images to use on social media, your email signature or company’s website, then a little portrait session is what you & your team need to see more from this post
The first thing I did pondering what to write about this gorgeous baby girl and her charming young parents was to google the meaning of her name.
With Italian and Hebrew roots it actually means “who is like God?”.
What a stunning thought that every time her name is spoken its like worship is being whispered secretly see more from this post
I found myself smiling throughout the edit of this shoot, not only because the Knight’s are the cutest family, I mean, baby’s Xavier’s eyes… (those eyes!), but because in the busyness and sometimes repetitive nature of running a business and household, these images slowed my thoughts and reminded me of that which we all hold most precious, see more from this post!
This family… has a special place in my heart. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph all their family milestones to date, and with each new shoot, I get to peer into their eyes a little more, look at their sweet connections, watch for those special moments, which there are so many. While I edit these images I get to stare long at these moments, these eyes, see more from this post!

“It’s a boy!”
Three. Little. Words.
Some people hear them in the ordered quiet of a sonography clinic beating to the drum of the finest little heart.
Other’s hear it shouted in triumphant victory as the grand finale to, well, lets call it a gruelling experience, shall we? see more from this post!

I always look at mums that are heavily pregnant with a sense of concern and empathy. Perhaps for some it would be a knowing smile or nostalgic memories of that anticipating wonder and all the crazy-beautiful that is about to explode into their lives. Pregnancy, childbirth and mothering is no easy path and it takes all kinds of bravery to experience this season fully with all it brings – and all see more from this post!
A recent working holiday trip to Bali saw me shooting two boutique hotels along the stunning Clifftops of Bingin and Balangan. Crystal sea views for days… Also a bit of fun to be transported from my hotel to the shoot on the back of a scooter by the young and trendy see more from this post!

“It’s a blazing day outside and the body screams for ocean. Cool and crystalline relief as salted water evaporates and skin dries firm like a mud mask. Repetition of hot – cold becomes an experience quite sublime, cooled bared midriff meeting baking concrete. Waterlogged eyelashes squint through the glare, sun flares meeting water droplets to form tiny rainbows across my view. It was just such a lazy day and I started to look at all things through these salty, watered eyes.
Sand, Sea, Salt & Silliness. All the right ingredients to make some beautiful Noosa Christmas family memories. Alder, the youngest, has more testosterone- out of this world- energy than my own sons, which is a lot. This brother-sister love was too lovely to see. see more from this post!

One of my favourite photography moments has to be the day I got the call to shoot the UK band, Delirious, for their Kingdom of Comfort Album.
A band who’s music had carved a deeply personal influence on my life for much of my adolescence and beyond with tracks such as ‘Obsession’, ‘Deeper’ and ‘I could sing of your love forever’. Check them out on Itunes. Here’s to the History Makers…

I had the opportunity to photograph this little pink squishy bundle on her 8th day. The LIPS. The EYES… Little heart melter she is.
I have been lucky to photograph this family on more than one occasion, this time to introduce to the world their precious, third born child, firstborn son, Levi. The name Levi finds it’s roots in ancient Hebrew culture, and means ‘pledged’ or ‘attached’. May you always find your life attached in the deepest way, little one, to family, friendship and to the One who has given you to them that they might nurture your life and dreams, and destiny.
